• Unique Player ID: Automatically generated for account management, based on legitimate interest.
• Date of Birth: Collected with consent to enforce age-based restrictions and comply with children's privacy laws.
• Device Language: Accessed for localization, based on legitimate interest; not stored.
• Country (Region): Accessed for compliance with local laws and content delivery, based on legitimate interest; not stored.
• Gameplay Data: Collected and stored based on performance of a contract (to deliver core gameplay functionality).

We do not collect personal contact details unless provided during parental consent (see Section 5).

2. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services for specific features:

• Epic Online Services: For account linking and analytics.
• Unity Ads: To display in-game ads on mobile platforms.

3. In-App Purchases

BFFN includes optional in-app purchases. All payments are processed through the platform you use (Steam, Epic, Google Play, or Apple). We do not access or store your payment information.

Your data (username, player ID, date of birth, and stats) is securely stored using industry-standard encryption through third-party infrastructure. We retain this data for as long as your game account exists and remains active, or until you request its deletion.

We do not log crash reports or error data. We do not access or store your IP address or physical location. However, we use third-party services such as ipapi.co, ipapi.is, or freeipapi.com to retrieve your region at runtime in order to apply local laws and content restrictions. This data is accessed temporarily and not stored.

5. Children's Privacy

BFFN is available to children. However, users under 13 (or the age of digital consent in their country) will have restricted access to features like:

• Voice chat
• In-app purchases

During account creation, we collect the user's date of birth to apply these limits. Parental email verification is required, and parents are informed of our policy. They may contact us at contact@blue.games to manage consent or data removal.

6. Consent and User Rights

You must accept this Privacy Policy to create an account. A popup containing this policy will be displayed during onboarding.
