We love seeing your creativity and passion for BFFN—thank you for sharing fan art, stories, and videos! This policy is here to help guide what’s okay and what’s not when using BFFN’s content (characters, names, visual designs, etc.) in your work.
Please review this fully before reaching out with questions—we do not issue licenses for fan use.
1. What’s Not Allowed
- No use of the official BFFN logo in fan works or products
- No mods or fan-made games based on BFFN
- No NFTs, crypto tokens, or blockchain-based items using BFFN content
- No religious, political, offensive, or sexual content involving BFFN IP
- No claiming your work is official, endorsed, or affiliated with BFFN or blueGames Studio
- No selling items through dropship or mass-production services (like Redbubble or Amazon Merch)
2. What You Can Do
Personal, Non-Commercial Use
Allowed:
- Posting fanart, animations, memes, etc. on social media
- Hosting themed birthday parties or events
- Sharing cosplay, DIY projects, or fun content inspired by BFFN
Not Allowed:
- Using the official logo or in-game art in your posts
- Presenting your content in a way that feels “official”
Streaming & Video Content
Allowed:
- Streaming and monetizing BFFN gameplay
- Uploading videos, reactions, and commentary using BFFN content
- Using BFFN characters in custom emotes or thumbnails
Not Allowed:
- Selling overlays, emotes, or stream assets based on BFFN content
- Using the game IP in stream branding that looks official
Small Batch Fan Products
Allowed:
- Selling up to 100 handmade units per product on your personal storefront (Etsy, Shopify, etc.)
- Selling fan-made art or crafts in person at events
Not Allowed:
- Mass production or outsourced manufacturing (including printers)
- Selling fan-made goods without the required disclaimer
- Selling anything that includes the BFFN logo
Required Disclaimer (must be clearly visible):
“This is a fan-made product. It is not an official product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by BFFN or blueGames Studio.”
3. Modding & Fan Games
To protect the core experience of BFFN:
- Mods are prohibited
- Fan-made games or spin-offs based on BFFN are not allowed
4. Educational Use
Teachers may use BFFN in class activities (team-building, gamified lessons), as long as they:
- Do not sell or distribute educational materials
- Do not use the IP in political, religious, or harmful ways
5. Legal Notes
- This policy does not grant you any rights to the BFFN IP
- blueGames Studio may ask you to take down content at any time, especially if it violates these guidelines or risks confusion with official products
